Inhouse product
Motopex is a cordless Endomotor designed specifically for capabilities to assist dental professionals in root canal preparation, enlargement, and accurate measurement of canal length. One of the standout features of Motopex is its efficient brushless motor, which operates quietly and boasts a long service life. This ensures smooth and reliable performance during procedures, enhancing the overall experience for both the dentist and the patient. Additionally, the cordless design of Motopex adds to its convenience and portability, allowing for greater flexibility in treatment settings.
The Motopex model includes a 360-degree rotation contra angle, which enables precise access to root canals from all angles. This versatility is crucial in achieving optimal results in complex endodontic cases. The Motopex package comprises essential components such as the charging base, motor handpiece, contra-angle, measuring wire, lip hook, file clip, power adapter, and protective silicon cover. These components ensure the smooth functioning and protection of the device, contributing to its durability and reliability. Motopex is classified as Class II equipment with an internal power supply, offering protection against electric shock. It offers a wide range of torque and speed settings, enabling dentists to tailor their approach based on specific treatment requirements. Operating within the specified environmental parameters, including temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, guarantees optimal performance.
Indication:
Used for biomechanical tooth preparation of root canals with an in-built apex locator used for measurement of precise working length.
Advantages:
Mode
EAL Mode: This mode is used for canal measurement. The motor handpiece does not rotate in this mode.
CW Mode: In this mode, the motor handpiece rotates forward 360° in a clockwise direction.
CCW Mode: This mode is used for the counterclockwise rotation of the motor handpiece. It is typically used to inject calcium hydroxide and other medicaments.
REC Mode: This mode is for reciprocating motion. The forward and reverse angles can be adjusted between 20° and 340°. It is used with reciprocating files like Micromega OneReci
ATR Mode: ATR stands for Adaptive Torque Reverse function. In this mode, the motor handpiece rotates continuously forward with a set angle between 120° and 340°. When the file load exceeds the set torque limit, the file will rotate alternately at the set angle. It is used with various torque and speed settings.
Select the appropriate program: Depending on the specific task you need to perform, choose the program that best suits your requirements.
Prepare the handpiece: Attach the appropriate endodontic handpiece to the motor. Ensure it is securely connected and properly aligned.Set the speed and torque: Adjust the speed and torque settings according to the specific procedure and file system being used. These settings may vary based on the manufacturer's recommendations and the requirements of the case.
Perform canal measurement: If you need to measure the canal, select the EAL (Electronic Apex Locator) mode. The handpiece will not rotate in this mode.Follow the instructions for using the apex locator integrated into the endo motor or use a separate apex locator if required.
Rotary instrumentation: For rotational movement files select the CW (clockwise) mode. Ensure the file is properly inserted into the canal and gently advance it while the handpiece rotates in a clockwise direction. Follow the recommended speed and torque settings for the specific file system.
Medicament placement: If you need to place medicaments like calcium hydroxide into the canal, select the CCW (counter clockwise) mode. The handpiece will rotate in a counter clockwise direction. Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer or your endodontic protocol for accurate placement.
Reciprocating motion: For reciprocating motion files select the REC mode.
Adaptive Torque Reverse (ATR) function: If you want continuous forward rotation with alternating torque reversal, select the ATR mode. Adjust the angle and torque settings based on your requirements and the file system being used.
